The boys are having lots of fun this last week of school. Today was the second grade awards program and picnic. It rained last night, and more was expected today. However, it held off for the picnic -- at a park just a couple of blocks from the school. Jared got awards for publishing a book (he presents it to the class tomorrow) and citizenship, and he earned a park admission ticket for participation in the Six Flags Reading Program. James made the A Honor Roll again, but seemed most excited about getting an award for good citizenship this year. He also got an award for perfect attendance (I jokingly called each of these kids "patient zero" last year when neither of mine was among them). LOL! James also got a Six Flags ticket.
