A couple of weeks ago, Jared and James (along with Mama Jo) got a chance to take a Challenge Air Flight. Challenge Air is a charity that provides flights for special needs children through the generosity of local pilots.
Jared's flight was cancelled a couple of times due to inclement weather, but, finally, they were able to take off from Lancaster Airport. James subbed for Jared as co-pilot, since Jared seemed a little anxious. James got to fly the plane while the pilot took pictures!! Jared enjoyed the view, although he did experience a little air sickness (guess he gets that from me). Unfortunately, I don't have any photos from inside the plane, since Mama Jo was in charge of that and she "forgot."
The last word: If you're looking for to make an end-of-year contribution to a charity, I would highly recommend Challenge Air.
